Today, HRSA announced that it will begin publishing 340B ceiling prices starting April 1, 2019.  HRSA will collect manufacturer pricing data on a quarterly basis and use the data to calculate 340B ceiling prices.  Covered entities will then be able to access the ceiling prices through a secure website, which was mandated by Congress under the Affordable Care Act and is long overdue.  RWC-340B had previously submitted comments to HRSA urging the agency to launch this website as soon as possible.

This announcement comes just one day after HHS issued a final rule implementing the 340B Ceiling Price and Manufacturer Civil Monetary Penalties Rule on January 1, 2019.
